About Saqqara

 In Egypt  amazing place to visit is Saqqara. Everyone’s heard of Giza’s Pyramids, but they’re not the only pyramids Egypt has up its sleeve. some people know about this place. finally I came here.  It was amazing experience. Day-tripping distance from Cairo, Saqqara is a vast necropolis of tombs. The pyramids that was utilized during every era of pharaonic rule.  Old Kingdom Step Pyramid Is Best. It shows, engineering knowledge of  the architects of Ancient Egypt. how finally create a true pyramid shape. amazing , right !

There’s much more to see beyond the Step Pyramid, though, with some of the surrounding tombs. You’ll see in the country like the Mastaba of Ti, showcasing some of the finest tomb paintings. Nearby,  the pyramid site of Dahshur is home to the Red Pyramid. The pyramid site of Dahshur is home to the Bent Pyramid. which should be included on any Saqqara visit .

In recent years, IT  has become headline-grabbing archaeological news as more discoveries are made during ongoing archaeological work here.  Saqqara covers a mammoth area, so if you’re short on time, limit your sightseeing to the Imhotep Museum, the Step Pyramid, the Pyramid of Teti, the Serapeum, and the Mastaba of Ti to see the best of Saqqara.
